My Management Style

I've worked in store, area, and district management- and have experience managing a 3rd party creative team. My management style is grounded in the belief that every employee has the potential to grow and develop. I make it a priority to spend time with each individual on my team, ensuring they feel heard and supported in their development. I’m passionate about teaching and building connections, genuinely enjoying the opportunity to celebrate my team’s achievements. No task is too small for me; I believe in leading by example and showing my team how achievable it is to overcome challenges and objections. Whether we're creating a piece of art together or making a meaningful connection with a customer, we do it as a team.

Games & Worksheets​

I provide my teams with worksheets to develop their sales skills and enhance their product knowledge. I also create activities that gamify the sales experience and encourage associates to meet their sales goals, including UPT Bingo and a sales pitch training game called "Secure the Bag."

Interactive Displays & Windows​

I have extensive experience with visual merchandising, having held various management roles with Lovers, H&M, and American Apparel. I love to create fun and interactive displays that bring complementary products together and encourage shoppers to touch and hold the product.

Sales Projections​

I have experience in sales forecasting and am proficient in the retail math required to set achievable sales goals. I carefully consider factors such as national holidays, local events, weather forecasts, and the previous year's sales data when making these projections. I can also analyze performance metrics, drawing insights from data on units sold, sales per hour, average transaction value, and conversion rates to drive strategic business decisions.

Team Building Events​

I hosted annual team building events to increase morale and build rapport with my sales leads. These events were conducted seasonally, and were designed to celebrate key accomplishments of the team through group discussion, games, activities, and gifts.

Training & Development​

I believe that empowering employees starts with effective training and development. I employ a diverse range of techniques—including roleplay, worksheets, and interactive discussions—to cater to various learning styles and ensure that training materials resonate with everyone. This multifaceted approach not only enhances engagement but also maximizes the impact of the learning experience. I also have experience creating comprehensive IDPs to enhance team skill sets.

Promotional Events​

I collaborated with neighboring businesses to design engaging in-store events that significantly boosted our visibility. These events not only increased store traffic and sales but also strengthened our relationship with the local community, enhancing our credibility and fostering trust with our customers. I also participated in industry related expos, festivals, and networking events to enhance our brand presence in the PNW.

Onboarding & Separating â€‹

I have experience managing the entire employee lifecycle, from conducting interviews and onboarding new hires to overseeing employee separations. I am comfortable facilitating crucial conversations and maintain detailed documentation of my team’s development to support their ongoing growth.

Store Set Up​

I have supported the opening of new store locations by assisting with visual direction, display strategy, stockroom organization, and the installation of various fixtures and signage. By utilizing style guidelines, I ensure that every detail is executed flawlessly while maintaining brand consistency.

Profit & Loss​

I’ve led 7 physical inventory counts and conducted numerous cycle counts. To keep inventory accurate, I look for stock discrepancies and opportunities to optimize product offerings for my area. My hands-on approach to stock organization and replenishment has made operations smoother and cut down on internal and external theft, all of which has helped drive financial growth.
